Karma May Have Cost Notre Dame
Reblogged from sportsastoldbyagirl:
Explosive news has come out about Notre Dame's gifted defensive player Manti Te'o. Te'o was the linebacker that America fell in love with. He went through tragedy at the beginning of the season and led his team defensively to an undefeated season and to a BCS Championship game. On September 11, 2012, Te'o was set out to play Michigan State with his teammates when he got some of the worst news of his life.

Thunder vs. Lakers- Who You Takin?
Reblogged from sportsastoldbyagirl:
No Pau Gasol. No Dwight Howard. How are the Lakers' chances looking? Not too good. Especially since they are on a five game losing streak looking to play the defending Western Conference Champions, Oklahoma City Thunder. So if the Lakers don't play on playing defense tonight, things will get ugly. At least the Lakers will have point guard Steve Nash this time around.

KD Apologizes
Reblogged from sportsastoldbyagirl:
Kevin Durant has always had the persona of a nice guy on and off the court. He always seems to maintain his composure. However, in recent games we have seen frustration get the best of the three time scoring champion. Over the course of three games, Durant has been given three technical fouls including two technicals against the Brooklyn Nets that resulted in his first ejection ever.

Part of Garnett's game is psychological by trying to get into a player's mind. Needless to say, Melo was having an off night and KG's words started to affect him.

End of an Era
Reblogged from sportsastoldbyagirl:
Today marked the last home game for the great Ray Lewis. It was pretty emotional for Baltimore fans who will miss their beloved captain. The Ravens beat the Indianapolis Colts 24-9 and on the last play Lewis was called out onto the field. He went out with his signature dance that has pumped up crowds for 17 years.
